Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Who we are
This notice explains how Tension Masters uses your personal information. We are the “controller” of your information under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Tension Masters is a trading name of Isaac Bunn, a sole trader.
Address: 5 Egginton Road, Hilton, Derby DE65
Email: bunnisz13@gmail.com · Phone: 07359 265035
2. What we collect
When you send a booking request we collect:
- your name and email address, and your phone number if you give it;
- your booking details: string choice, colours, number of rackets, tension, stringing method, drop-off point and any message you write;
- the price worked out for your booking.
Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the website secure and working.
We don’t collect payment card details online, we don’t use your information for marketing, and we never sell it.
3. How and why we use it
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your booking request, arrange drop-off and collection, string your racket and tell you how much to pay | Taking steps to enter into, and performing, a contract with you |
| Keep records of jobs and payments for tax and accounts | Legal obligation |
| Keep the website secure and stop spam | Our legitimate interests in running a safe website |
You don’t have to give us your details, but without a name and email address we can’t take your booking.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information with the service providers we need to run the business. They act on our instructions:
- Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA): receives the booking form and emails it to us.
- Google (Gmail): the email account we use to receive bookings and reply to you.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA): hosts this website.
Some of these providers are in the USA. When your information is transferred outside the UK, it’s protected by the UK–US “data bridge” or by approved contract terms (the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum).
We may also share information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Booking requests that don’t go ahead are deleted within 12 months.
- Records of completed jobs and payments are kept for up to 6 years, because HMRC requires us to keep tax records.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it;
- ask us to delete it, or limit how we use it;
- object to us using it for our legitimate interests;
- ask us to send it to you or someone else in a common format.
To use any of these rights, email bunnisz13@gmail.com. It’s free, and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
7. Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies or tracking, and there’s no analytics or advertising. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so no third-party font service sees your visit.
- Maps: the drop-off maps only load if you press “Show map”. Google Maps may then set its own cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Admin area: the password-protected admin page keeps you logged in using your browser’s session storage. This is strictly necessary and is cleared when you close the tab.
8. Changes to this notice
We’ll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
